Meet Bruno Feitoza, Senior Software Engineer at BEON.tech, currently wrangling code for one of our partners in Houston, Texas. Besides being a coding wizard, Bruno is incredibly approachable and persistent. His optimism and strong sense of community are something we genuinely appreciate, and they’re part of what makes him shine in his career.

During our last Ambassadors’ Week, we sat down with Bruno to hear about his challenges, achievements and motivations as a software engineer at BEON.tech. From Anxious Beginnings to Confident Professional

When Bruno started his career in tech, he was riddled with anxiety & self-doubt. He often felt like he was miles behind his peers in knowledge and experience.

Instead of letting these feelings paralyze him, Bruno transformed that into an obsessive quest for knowledge. He dived into courses and self-study, hell-bent on closing the gap between his insecurities & the expertise needed in his field.

This never-ending chase not only sharpened his technical skills but also paved the way for his eventual success at BEON.tech. It turns out, relentless self-improvement is a pretty solid career strategy.

But Not Just Tech Skills

Being a bit shy and introverted, he told us that communication wasn’t exactly his strong suit. Yet, working remotely with international teams shoved him right out of his comfort zone. It was a sink-or-swim scenario for his communication skills, which, spoiler alert, he managed to improve.

These days, Bruno is all about clear communication. He gets that it’s a big deal for professional growth. He even believes that mastering soft skills, especially communication, trumps technical skills when it comes to climbing the career ladder.
